I bet Charlie would use the bottom of his porcelain coffee cup just to show you how it’s done right
with a smile . I had the honor of meeting Charlie at a blade show in Oregon years ago and was fortunate enough to be able to talk with him and hang out off and on throughout the day. When I left I felt like a true Traditionalist and that was with only a fraction of his knowledge.

Charlie's great leadership in pattern selection, material choices and design is that we also get GEC branded knives made in those patterns.

As much as I love my City Stock, I also really enjoy my Tidioute 81 in Ebony and NF 81 in violet bone. Similarly, I really cherish my Ebony and white bone Riders, but also quite enjoy the 86 sheepfoot Bull Hide Carver.
I don't know if we would have seen a single spring stockman without Charlie's efforts.
Maybe I'm wrong, but Charlie seems to influence other GEC production in a fantastic way.
