That's interesting. Is he just trolling and copying previous reviews or are these his older reviews that he's just posting here again?

Same. I have a Max Scout too. Probably never carry or use it due to being so big and heavy. Definitely a head turner when I show it to someone it being so huge of a folding knife. When I think of Cold Steel knives I think of good knives with super strong locks, but some of the worst pocket clips on the market. I’ve owned very few that weren’t pocket shredders and needed major tension adjustment bending. Cold Steel knives are definitely good knives for the money with very strong locks but I don’t think they’re the best or anywhere close to the best knives on the market.
 
The Gem of The Orient is the top survival knife I own. It has it all- gold, gems, it cost over two million bucks and has the kind of heft that would really cut it in a survival situation. Sorry, phone broke, can't post pics.

Yeah they’re definitely pocket shredders. I don’t know which is worse, Emerson or Cold Steel. Khakis? Forget about it. A few in and outs with a Cold Steel in G10 and you can kiss that pocket seam goodbye. I have seriously considered getting reinforced pockets on some of my pants.

Yes and this has been going on for years with Cold Steels. You’d think they would enough negative feedback by now to have addressed this issue but nope, they’re still selling them with horrible clips and we’re silly enough to keep buying them 😂

That and the texture of their G10 is rough enough to sand wood. They need to take some notes from Spyderco on how to make G10.

This reminds me of an ol boy I knew who would say whatever he was driving was the best car on the road. It could of been a Pinto and it was the best.
 
You guys keep feeding the troll and then complain about it.

So how about this...don't rise to the bait.

And as a further inducement, any additional personal attacks I become aware of will be met with warnings. So, maybe use that as a reason not to participate if you have nothing to offer but comments about the OP.

We'll mop up where and when required...use the report button or discuss knives.
 
What is the going rate on the G10 4max? $400? I like the scout but maybe they could’ve figured out a way to do G10 and S35VN for south of $200. That would be more ideal for me especially for a survival situation as mentioned.
