Beautiful! But she's no AD10. Just sayin'.Oh well, at least this thread gives me a good excuse to show off Sophia again. The knife that 'I believe' is the best knife that money can buy - a Carothers DEK1 in D3V steel with a swedge, penetrator tip, and Cocobolo scales and blued titanium fasteners. Ain't she purty?

Wow , there IS a strong resemblance. I’ve been watching him (Clancy Brown) on Dexter these last few weeks. They should make a movie about Andrew Demko and the development of the AD10.
My vote is for Clancy Brown to play Andrew Demko. The resemblance is striking.

Can't wait for Sunday, gonna be so good.Wow , there IS a strong resemblance. I’ve been watching him (Clancy Brown) on Dexter these last few weeks.
Right? I saw that picture of AD and I was like “holy crap it’s Captain Hadley from Shawshank!!”Wow , there IS a strong resemblance. I’ve been watching him (Clancy Brown) on Dexter these last few weeks.
If Andy had an AD10, he would’ve dug the tunnel in 17 days instead of 17 years. They could make a sequel where an AD-10 gets smuggled into the prison, and because it can do anything, they have a huge prison break. I would call it...

The pound per pound value champ IMO is the Ferrum Forge Stinger.
Never heard of it.
Seriously?
Maybe you heard the ad jingle for it?
"Floats like it was levitated by ShinyEdges!
Stings like a nasty BEE!
The Ferrum Forger Stinger
is the BEST KNIFE for ME!"
Then again, I might have never heard of the FFS either, and just made all that up.
Once all the Holidays are over I think my next big purchase will be an AD-20. Shark Lock seems cool as hell.Ad-15 came in today, can confirm its better than the ad10![]()
I've only handled the 2 customs from the guy I met, probably a terrible way to get introduced to them because them suckers were smooth... set the bar high for what I think they should be. I'd love to get one as well but it appears they are very hard to find the nicer ones.Once all the Holidays are over I think my next big purchase will be an AD-20. Shark Lock seems cool as hell.
I don't mind the hard to find, that will keep me from spending the money for a little longer.I've only handled the 2 customs from the guy I met, probably a terrible way to get introduced to them because them suckers were smooth... set the bar high for what I think they should be. Agreed on all accounts. The MG are good too. This production ad15 is surprisingly nice as well, centered blade with good fit and finish. Hopefully the quality doesn't dip now with gsm.I don't mind the hard to find, that will keep me from spending the money for a little longer.
But yeah, I want one of the customs. I've got no problem settling for the machine ground rather than the hand ground to save some cash, but I'm pretty sure I want the thing from the man himself rather than the production ones (though I've heard the 20.5s are really, really nice, too).
OK DookeyThere's napkins or tp somewhere near you for them tears.
