No - I’m sure it wouldn’t Doc. That’s why I got a CS AD-10 for my son - I figured he might be a little abusive since he’s used to using fixed blades. I only made that comment as a rebuttal to the OP, who I’m increasingly convinced is just having a good time/fun with all of us.I'm not too sure this would make a very significant difference .
The actual real life difference might not be all that great , compared to less robust designs ?

The AD10 is a great knife, but not something I enjoy carrying all the time. It’s a tank. Not 4max big, but it is still a chonky boy. I really can’t think of when I’d carry it… maybe if I was camping and wanted a folding knife? But for EDC, it’s a no for me for “best knife”.
