The Cold Steel Voyager in AUS10 steel is THE BEST knife you can buy for the money...

Expect closer to 440C than VG10
I have the Spyderco Delica 4 and the Endura 4, both of which have VG-10 steel, and I have used both as well as the Voyager extensively. And, I would disagree with your assessment. I would say that AUS10 is clearly closer to VG-10 than 440C, at least in practical use.

The XL Voyager is a great buy IMO. The large version is just a tad cramped for my hand.

It's a lot of blade for a reasonable price if you're willing to carry it.

After having the large clip point Voyager and using it, I'd like to own every version of this knife. The XL version would come in nicely on camping trips.

I don't know about that, but it is one heck of a value. I just added Snaggletooths (Snaggleteeth... Snaggleteeths!) to my Voyager Large clip point and my Voyager XL Vaquero. Wonderful!

Thanks a lot. Now I have one ordered.

*scans ramen noodle inventory...*
I hope you like yours as much as I like mine. I can't recommend it highly enough. I've got lots of knives including high-end items, but when it comes to getting stuff done, I keep going back to my Voyager.

I had the AUS8 version and it's a great big light folder for the money, so the AUS10 version should be even better.

Regarding AD10 and AD15 prices, well they are linked to Demko (production versions of his custom pieces), they have liners, and they use better steel and better handle material, so they should be more expensive. It's debatable whether they should be 2× 3× or 4× more expensive than Voyager, though.

When the gunsites came out I tried to get used to tanto style and also half serrated. I wanted to like them I really tried and it just didn't work. Very seldom do I personally need a serrated edge and certainly not everyday. The tanto tip did nothing better for me than a clip point could do better.
Then the vaqueros came out. I bought them and still own them and never really ised them. I see no advantage to that blade style in everyday use.
Great for your collection just not for me in using.
I did give my son in law a land sea rescue years ago because he was cutting rope all day. He really loves that knife.
I would love to see another sheepsfoot made.

Well... I'm not convinced about it being "the best" for the money, but mine was certainly worth what I paid at The Sports Authority years ago. Around $40 or so, IIRC. I have the small tanto Voyager in an earlier style from the current one. I don't carry it... it's a FAK knife for my car kit. It just rides in the pack until I need it. I take it out once a year or so, clean it, touch it up, and check everything over, but it's always there ready to go. Don't know whether it's AUS10 or an earlier steel, but it is very sharp and corrosion free. The straight edge and second "tip" from the tanto blade work well in some kinds of cutting, trimming, shaping that get done while traveling, camping, fixing "slip-ups", etc.

I have an earlier Cold Steel from the late '80's, a small Clip Mate. It's AUS6, I think? It's still a solid worker. Locks up tight, blade's still perfectly centered, and it keeps a decent working edge between sharpenings. I don't have any interest in their current offerings, but I have no regrets about the two that I own.

Best for what?

Whenever somebody uses "best" for subjective items, they are broadcasting that they don't really know that much.

This is an asinine, ridiculous comment. I was obviously speaking in general terms that one would be very hard-pressed to purchase a folding knife and get as much value for their money as you do with the Cold Steel Voyager with AUS10 steel. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble with that very simple concept, but that's your problem, not mine. Here's a tip for you though, sport: if you don't understand something that simple, just don't reply. Have a streak-free day! :)

I’d call that an asinine reply. Perhaps that word doesn’t mean what you think it means?

I can’t speak for CWL CWL but this Voyager would have no real use for me whatsoever. It would be of little value to me. You have now given your own definition, presumably based solely on what you get for the price, which by most people’s reckoning is a very narrow way to define value.

Asinine is a simple word that means extremely stupid or foolish, which is what his comment is...and I couldn't care less what you think.
