I love the looks of the white and red handles.Agreed about the GW2 (well, all that you mentioned), but that was a very pleasant surprise, especially the stonewashed finished ones

That wardog handle is the only Busse/kin Iāve ever held and thought āwhat the hell were they thinking with this one?ā What an unergonomic turd of a handle.DSSF handle was amazing, I wish I still had one. That TAC handles are nice but some are too thin. The ASH 1, liberty heart style handles are so secure and user friendly. Mudder handles are my favorite for multiple hand positions. I don't like the War dog style handles, my first was the basic 4 and couldn't get used to it so off it went.
I forgot to mention the Sarge 7 handle is very comfortable, but I think I will add a liner to give it more girth and see if it gets better!
I feel like those were intended more for stabbing tasks by someone wearing gloves. Not so much ergonomically comfortable, but maybe more practical tactical? If's been a while since I handled mine, but seem to recall that I prefer it in reverse grip. That wardog handle is the only Busse/kin Iāve ever held and thought āwhat the hell were they thinking with this one?ā What an unergonomic turd of a handle.
I really dig the handle on my BGASH, but it has magnum scales with liners so itās a tooch thick for my hand. Itās plenty comfortable, but feels kind of like a shovel handle or something with how big and round it is. Iāve thought about sanding it down for years, but then it wouldnāt fit in the nice BB mutant kydex.![]()
Give that wardog a current grip and see what you think. They feel ass to me in any grip except hammer with the handle upside down.I feel like those were intended more for stabbing tasks by someone wearing gloves. My son has a BGHR and I agree 100%. Itās one of the most comfortable handles Iāve ever felt on any knife.![]()
BG HR for me. Iāve applied a hand-sanded finish to many micarta scaled blades with excellent results, but this one was absolutely perfect from the factory.
Thatās dead sexy. Got a pic of the whole knife?Res C for sure.. and smoothed magnum fusion canvasView attachment 2966714
Yes sir, another vote for the War Dog 5 handlesDid someone say Res-C?Those WD5 squarish cross section handles with their generously radiused corners fit my small'ish mitts really well! The Mudder handles slightly less so, though I do like their rippled texture's grippiness and the way their bulbous shape fills the palm pocket of the hand. And the INFIdu micarta is IMHO no slouch in the comfort department either.View attachment 2958561
