The comfy handle list

Agreed on all of those but the middle one. I’ve never handled one of those so I’ll have to take your word for it.

The BG Urban Grudge is actually my latest aquisition. Wanted it when it was released, but as I’m sure you know Op2Wks was absolute madness and we were all drinking from the firehose. Passed b/c I had already bought the Jackmandu, which is still epic in its own right. The slimmer scales and blade stock on the JMD have their place, but the BG UG is more hand filling with thick slabs and .22” stock.

-The BME2 takes an upset over my NMFSH and the BOOM Parang

-BG HR edges out the TGULB and Chopweiler

-BG SOS squeaks past a SCABS

-Early Mean Street gets the nod over my BG AMS on handles, but would actually keep the AMS if I had to pick one. (Really hope I never have to though lol.)

I love the E-handles but mine are first gen. I’m sure the handles are the same, or at least damn close.

I’d like compile a list of comfy handles to try if I don’t already own one. The handle is almost more important than the blade, to me. It’s the contact point. One can usually make any blade work, but not any handle.

What are your most comfortable handles? By most comfortable I mean something that feels like it was crafted for your personal hand by God almighty, not just “a nice handle”.

Pics are a plus if you have em. Thanks, gents.

For me, it’s the M6 (M9, etc) and the Hell Razor II. Those two make the clouds part and the angels sing.

Got another one to add to the comfy handle list. Disclaimer - I have not used this one yet. However, after extensive coon fingering and air bleeding I am certain it’s a comfortable handle.





As soon as this thing has a sheath it’s going with me as my new midweight bushwhacker.

One of the first Busse’s I got was a thick bladed (forget the term) FBM that had black G10 mags. It was very comfy for my hand but also bit back a little so that there was no slipping.
Had a Bushwacker Mistress and sold it because of the handle.
Just got a Beating Heart with mags and is pretty close to the FBM but doesn’t have the “bite”.
