It's gone Lone Wolfe, I called them last week. They are notorious for not having what their site says they do. He said he would take the pic down but never did.
 
Looks like the Mammoths are getting hot again... Got my eye on 2 21s.. one with bark inlays and ladder damascus.. then another with ivory inlay and Mosaic Zebra... :)

Just remember, those 4 that got snagged were all offered at well below retail (like more than $100 off what they were going for when Mammoth was still an inlay option). A great deal for those who liked the particular characteristics of the Mammoth.
 
To all my friends here on BF, I have a confession to make. It was me. I did it.

I would have confessed earlier but I couldn't. I was flying across the Atlantic. Really! I just arrived in Amsterdam and got settled in my hotel room. Logged on BF to see what was up, only to realize I was the topic of discussion. 🙄
What happened is when I arrived at the airport early in the morning. Yesterday, that is. And as we all know you spend a lot of time just waiting around at an airport. That's when I discovered that Neil at TNK had some mammoth Mnandi. And as fate would have it there was one left and it was a basket weave. The only iteration of mammoth Mnandi that I didn't have. I am sorry. I couldn't help myself. It's a disease!
Please don't tell my wife!

ice_man you and lone_wolf seem to have a knack for discovering hidden treasure! She beat me to the punch recently by just hours! I am still sulking over that! And now I here you whispering about a zebra mammoth! I'm about to have a heart attack! Lol And me? I'm still looking for a large mammoth! I have searched high and low! Dropped hints here and there! Some people just have all the luck!
Just don't forget to show us a pic so we can all drool like we did over lone_wolfe's catch!
 
Well then, congrats on snagging the last mammoth mnandi, Cajun! I was really wondering since Stefan and I posted here when we grabbed ours, but heard nothing from anyone else. Don't worry about it, your secret is safe with us. :)

As for LW and ice man, I hear you. They always seem to find the best CRK's when no one else has a clue... I would love a large mammoth as well. If I was able to buy a zebra mammoth, I would be ecstatic.

Good, so I can't be tempted. :cool: I have a white Seb anyway, and don't want to get into mammoth Mnandis at all. I'm just hanging on to the Sebs I have for now, as I pretty much have all the color bases covered. On the Mnandi front, having the 3 numbereds that I do now completes the collection other than a River of Fire. I'm not planning to keep any damascus Mnandis at all.

That find was good and bad for me. Bad, because I had to spend money I really should'nt have, but I wasn't going to pass these up. Good, because it filled enough holes in my collection that there's very little I still need. Just a decorated Original and a ROF Mnandi, plus I'd like a lefty CGG like a Trapeze.

Ok sooooo I picked this one up maybe I dunno 2 weeks ago. It's my favorite Raindrop variation. It's showing a ton of wear already so I'm going to send it in for a complete return to new condition and retire it to the safe.

So I needed a new one for my EDC rotation, which after I retire my 21's is this:

And I'm going to tie a lanyard on the Micarta, still trying to determine which CRK bead to use. Might try and match an all silver CRK crater bead one like I have on my PJ 25:

Then I was feeling guilty about not having any wood inlays after many long conversations with James Longstreet and and not buying any 21s so I bought this:

It's a Large 21 with stretched Raindrop and Gabon Ebony with the rare lighter brown hues mixed in the black. This is the rare type of Ebony so it looks more like wood and less like plastic:

Technically not "inbound" anymore but thought I'd share anyway. This Umnumzaan is my first Chris Reeve Knife. I have never handled or even seen a Chris Reeve product before I picked this one up at the Post Office a few hours ago. I know, he's pretty boring compared to most of the other pieces in this thread but I'm excited none the less. This one will fall into rotation with my XM-18, ZT0560BW, and a ZT0350. The obligatory crappy cell phone pics:
