So, this little worker is finally waiting for me to pick it up today after work.


However, Angela told me on the phone that I am the first one to receive something new and different with my new Sebenza.

I will find out today what she meant on the phone... and probably post some pics.

What could it be? :)

plane large regular just arrived, picked up the 04 Ironwood a couple of days ago, and the 04 box elder is on the way. :D

Well arrived home from a great game of golf this morning and the wife signed for this beauty wasn't supposed to be here till Monday man is she awesome first starbenza and I love it

I do as well. I miss seeing Chris' signature but I understand why it's gone. It looks like there is plenty of room for the knife and all paperwork/accessories and easy to access. Hopefully it still fits in a small flat-rate box. I really like the layout of the new birthcard.
Great knife, Socom! I received a large lefty micarta serrated two weeks ago. I've carried it every day since.
 
Thanks! Definitely a keeper for me. I also miss seeing Chris' signature. There is decent room in the box, everything fits nice, and it is easy to open/close.

Unfortunately, the box does not fit in a small flat rate priority box. :( It came in the next size up, the square box.

Congratulations! I do like the box other than not fitting in the small flat rate box. There are threads here discussing that point. Too bad they didn't heed the suggestions....

I love the serrated CRKs!
 
Super nice Socom^^^^ always did like the serrated blades. The new packaging/box is REALLY classy. I love it....BUT does suck that it doesnt fit in a small priority...ugh.
 
Btw...i do have an "inbound". I picked up a Micarta 25. Have been wanting one for a while.
 
Nothing will beat the old thinner boxes when the blue cloth was first introduced. Took up little space in safes as well. Sucks to see Chris's signature missing also :(

Yep, I'm going to miss that too. :(

And it looks like I'm going to see what the re-ish ones look like pretty soon. I've got a no-doc Mnandi inbound, billed by the seller as being Cocobolo. Not sure, going to ask CRK. It is an older one, and like a typical Mnandi, the back is prettier than the front. :D

Sweet. Nice Pickup. That is a nice one. I was looking at it as well. To me it looked more like Bocote than cocobolo just by the grain.
