The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

They sure are, T. K. C. But those Umfaans are too small for my arthritic hands to close around. I just landed this one, and it's a beauty.

Yeah, I'm breaking the rules, but being the OP has to count for something, right? ;)

I have this kitchen knife inbound, from a relatively unknown maker here on BF. I have the feeling the unknown part won't last long..... It was made by Jelle B. Hazenberg, the handle is Purple Heart and Olivewood, and the blade is white #2 core with 22-layer 'Suminigashi' cladding. The smaller paring knife was ordered by someone else, although I think I'll be ordering one to match my new Gyuto soon.

Awesome score lone wolf! These definitely caught my eye when I saw them. Hopefully you let us know how it performs when you get it.

That's the year I think it might have been made. It looks like some of what Lisa was doing around 2004-2006.

Won a local auction for this one today at a knife show.

CRK was in attendance showing off some new stuff. Yay! Got to see some new stuff, including the new boxes. Handled that large and small Inkosi with inlays. Really need to get a large. Good stuff.
Anyway, CRK was gracious enough to donate this Unique for the Idaho Knife Assoc..There was another gentleman that was bidding against me, but wasn't willing to go quite so high. I felt a little bad for him missing out.
Anne and Tim were willing to make one very similar for him, so really- we all won..

Was really nice talking to everyone at the CRK table..

Thank you! I am really liking it. The cobochon is really nice looking. There is no way that my meager skills could capture it.
