That one it too hot for public consumption.... holding it back for a rainy day. Plus it deserves the light box treatment I just got.

I have always wanted a mammoth/damascus Sebbie. Thought that it was so cool that the material used is easily a minimum of 10,000 years old. I've seen a number of examples, but always favored the "bark-type" versions. This one is plenty "barky"... and just what I wanted.

I want to carry it, and have it as a conversation piece to show others how cool it is... but struggle with wanting to keep it perfect.

Thanks, yeah it sure is pretty. I dont really know anything else about it other than it was made in 07 i think. Really wish CRK would concentrate more on the UG designs. Im a huge fan of them!

That is a tough dilemma, I've been there many times. That one wasn't my favorite bark, but was my favorite damascus/bark. I hated to see it go, I've watched it here for so long I felt like I knew it already

Correct blade, as in the one that was on the knife the first time it left the factory.
 
Thank you both! It' a transitional, old nick and clip, new pivot. Another 2012, like the Desert Ironwood I bought in memory of my mother. If only this one were 2010, I'd have another year covered. But I do like the grain on this on, and I can be picky about Box Elder. :thumbup:
