Beautiful knife El Dub! Congratulations are in order!
I do have an observation though; Did anyone else notice the iridescent rainbow like colors refracting off the bald? And does that truly represent what the blade looks like to the naked eye? Or is that just something askew in the photograph due to lighting or ???

Yeah, I'm breaking the rules, but being the OP has to count for something, right?

I have this kitchen knife inbound, from a relatively unknown maker here on BF. I have the feeling the unknown part won't last long..... It was made by Jelle B. Hazenberg, the handle is Purple Heart and Olivewood, and the blade is white #2 core with 22-layer 'Suminigashi' cladding. The smaller paring knife was ordered by someone else, although I think I'll be ordering one to match my new Gyuto soon.
