The CRK Anticipation Thread - Show Your 'Inbound's!

Thinking I was going to have to wait 5 months to get my sebenza 25 from crk directly after searching everywhere for one of these, I was lucky enough to find one of these bad boys new from a reputable dealer. I had signed up for every single "notify me" feature on every website that sold the sebenza 25 but I just happened to email a certain awesome someone asking him when we would have more 25's in stock and he informed me that he had 1, brand new, ready to ship. I think it took me about .05 seconds to order it....

 
Snagged this beauty off the exchange yesterday, I should have it in my hands Monday! I can't wait!

Nice Score.....!!! Easily one of the most beautiful pieces of mammoth ivory you will ever see. I had to pass because of what I spent on CRK the day before.
 
I was secretly hoping you had bought it when I seen your post nyefmaker :D I had been watching it since 4am that morning trying to fight the urge to buy. I finally gave in:D

Thanks.....lol. It was obviously meant for you. Out of all the mnandi I have ever seen, that would have definitely been the grail for me. Unfortunately I spent over 1K on CRK the day before with a Large Annual and the Small Regular Night Sky. As we ALL have found out, we can't buy all the ones we want...!!!
 
Ain't that the truth, I really want a lignum vitae and a jigged rosewood mnandi but after the mammoth bark I kinda hope I don't find one of either for a little while
 
I used to have a Jigged Madagascar Rosewood Mnandi. It was pretty nice. Did not have much grain to it because of the jigged wood, but the jigging made it special. I would post pics, but that would be mean. If you browse a recent thread though, you will see it....... The Lignum Vitae is tough to find. I just scored a small 21 LV and its kinda plain, but a keeper since there will be no more.............Lets just face it....ALL CRK are nice and we are ALL helpless to resist.
 
This is so true. I have eyed every pic of every jigged rosewood and lignum vitae on BF. Not the smartest thing I've done lately haha
 
Just bought a small micarta insingo and a calfskin pouch. Holding my breath!
 
Just ordered a large sebenza 21 tanto with micarta inlays from True North Knives! Can't wait to get my hands on this one. Already have a large 21 with cocobolo inlays and this one will be a great addition.

Maybe a future 25 version will come to fruition.

That would be fantastic. Although I really can't wait to get my hands on this one, I've been lusting after an inlaid 25. When I spoke with Heather at CRK and she told me the 21 was going to be phased out in favour of the 25 she wasn't able to give me anything definite in terms of timing. She did suggest I check back in a couple of months to see whether the 25 would then be available with inlays. My wallet already hurts :D
