The Damascus are Coming!!

I recently got my notification and a refund as well. Im just thankful to get one 1760, hopefully that means someone down the list can enjoy one, too.
 
FYI, not all people that got shipping notices today will actually ship today. I printed labels for five hours and wrapped till now, off to PO. The rest will go tomorrow for sure. As far as refunds are concerned, I checked back to original preorders and if you reserved one and paid for two or more , you got one, in most cases if you didn't specify quantity and your ordered several , you got one, I had a couple that did not preorder at all and sent funds for quantities, they have not shipped. I tried to be as fair as possible and cover all preorders. Some packages were shipped with only one skyline yesterday, that was how I started ( just one per package) when I realized I was going to have enough, and I changed in midstream. Tomorrow before I let loose of any more I will revisit those that I shorted and if you had an actual preorder for more than one , it or they will ship tomorrow in a second package, hope this makes sense.

That was confusing, but you seem to understand which is the important part lol. I preordered 1 and paid for 1 so I am assuming I am good for that one. Anyways, thanks for doing all of this for us.

I have always been super pleased with my Kershaw buying experiences from kershawguy.com. I suppose if a refund wasn't issued then the order is in the clear. I sent payment as a gift so I haven't been expecting any notices. I just figured there would be an awesome package waiting when I get home one afternoon.
 
Your way of handling the Skylines was a classy and diplomatic decision Dave. Thanks for hard work and fairness.

I pre ordered 2 and got my shipment notification but just got a refund for one. Confused?
 
I payed for two, I was just refunded for one of them just now.

In my original preorder email in January, I asked for one.

In my reply to the email on Sunday, I was under the impression that I can order whatever I want since I was relatively early on the list and it stated to make an order with what is available on the list, I opted for two Skylines instead of one and payed.

Would have loved to take advantage of the early dibs for another...I'd love to have two from Dave still, if I don't at least one of you guys down the list gets one.
 
Darn, just got a refund for one also. I only wanted two, prepaid for two, and thought I was pretty high on the list. Oh well, guess my girlfriend gets a nice birthday suprise.

Yeah I think Dave still thought he would have enough to cover orders but a lot of people must've opted for 2. Sounds like he's going back and looking at the initial preorder list from January and filling those obligations first.

Sounds fair Dave. I originally spoke for one each of the Skyline, Leek, Salvos, and Zing but when the Salvos and Zings weren't yet available opted only for 2 Skylines since I had just purchased 2 Blurs. Only seems fair that those that only reserved one and then paid for more, only get the one.
 
I checked my mailbox and I didnt get it yet :( A man can dream. Im excited for Monday, or Tuesday!

I am out of town for the weekend. Kind of nice because it takes my mind off the knives for a bit. I am almost excited for my all black Cryo as I am for the dam skyline.
 
Next week will be a good week for mail. Dave's packages will come, my DPX hest and JYD2.2 and a Lionsteel SR1a I just traded for. Got my beautiful new Blue Para 2 today. I guess that will have to hold me over until next week.
 
There's one with a buy it now of $200...and they have the gall to charge for shipping. :eek:
