The Danny Collection 2.0 released 10/19/2023

I bought the 112 mainly because I'm so used to going for odd ones I didn't really look or hesitate at all! Plus I knew that there was only a few left since I didn't see the email. Under 100 for a odd LE 112 is a short short run but the main reason was the S45VN. It will join the Koa as the only 112 in that steel. I'll probably give it some limited use to see if the pocket clip will work for me and see if the steel is any better than 420. I liked the Magancut 110 and S45VN is supposed to be close.

Under 100? Did you get a discount? Edit: oh, never mind. You meant the quantity!

Mail call!

I was going to do the obligatory "The Good" and "The Bad" list but frankly, there is absolutely nothing bad about it. It's perfect! Even the blade centering is perfect!

Here are some sunlight photos. I didn't try real hard, but I don't these days.

And since my newer 118 was handy, some comparison pics. It would probably compare better to the 105, but I don't have one handy.

Beautiful knife Greg, thanks for the review and photos.

I am very envious on the 907 - shame on me. :)

I'm Hoping the Great Pumpkin will bring me lots of presents.

A Danny Skinner would do.
😎

Signed,
Sincerely.

Am I the only one that's a little sad we never got a video of Danny displaying his knives on this release?
Not really a complaint just a note that the previous release videos weren't unappreciated 😅

My Danny's haven't shipped out yet but it looks like the advertised number of knives made are not matching up to the COAs, at least on the expert hunter. Can anyone confirm or deny?

They match but we didn't place all of the knives on the website, some were set aside for the Factory Store and others for employees that were interested in purchasing them. The COA is correct for the amount of knives built.

So the website number is the amount sold online, COA is actually the amount made?

Hmmm...someone could buy based on what they thought were a very limited production, as advertised in the email, only to find out later that amount is greater. The email does state "ONLY XX MADE" for each of those knives. Not complaining, and I hope these releases continue, but appears to be misleading to the customer since they would not be able to see the COA quantity until after the purchase. Could correct by either stating "ONLY XX AVAILABLE" or better yet use the true number in the "ONLY XX MADE".

What is the quantity printed on the COA for the 907?

Anyway, I'll crawl back under my rock now. ;)
