The Danny Collection 2.0 released 10/19/2023

Got a chance to look at my order tonight. My 112s are the same as mentioned above. Slight drop down to the g10. Only other thing I thought was odd was a black smudge on the blade of my 907. With closer inspection it's actually the D2 BOS logo with some lettering behind it. Hard to really tell on pictures but you can see it to the left of the main stamp.

The G10 is slightly lower on mine as well. You can't see it but you can feel it with your finger.

edit: it is barely perceptible and doesn't concern me

I wanted to follow-up that I just spoke to Buck customer service and they are going to take care of me on the 112 and 907. Excellent customer service.

Well that is 4 (EDIT: 6) of the 98 made with the uneven bolster to handle transition. I was hoping for more responses to try to see if this is a design choice or a fit & finish problem.

On my knife, as I said, it is really noticeably felt. If a design choice, then it is how Danny wanted the knife to be. Which then, I would be fine with (its different/unique). But, if it is a fit & finish issue, I will have to send back to Buck. I guess I will have to call Buck to see if I can get a definitive answer.

My scales are a bit below the bolster and the mark side has a much smaller bevel at the top than the pile side. If the bevels were the same on both scales, there wouldn’t be a good seat for the screws they used. This doesn’t bother me. The spine of my blade looks a little uneven. I can see it but I can’t feel it. This doesn’t bother me either. My example has no blade wobble or up and down play when open and the action is smooth. I’m calling it a win as I’ll use this knife - a 112 w/ a pocket clip that doesn’t have the doofy beach ball size thumb studs on the blade!!! I’ll probably ding it up and resharpen it. I’m real happy with this one.
Once I had a 112 w/ a 5160 blade that felt like I was dragging a metal bucket filled with rocks down a gravel driveway when I opened it. Sent it back, on Buck’s dime, and when it returned it was like 2 pieces of glass rubbing together with CRK grease in between them. The warranty is super when there’s a problem.
