The Deer Hunter - Buck 118 Personal (permanent thread - keep adding)

pjsjr pjsjr That stag is super nice! Here is one that has me a bit confused. It is marked D2 in the location where it is usually BUCK and then on the back side it is marked BUCK anvil CUSTOM USA. Ive seen the double stamped ones. The box has a date of 7/31/2014. Any thoughts?

Don W Don W that is the “non-double stamp D2”. Those were a short run knife, look back a page, I recently gave one to a friend as a retirement gift. I may have pictures of both sides, but the tang stamp is on the opposite side of the knife versus the standard catalog version. OH

Thank you, Don, I have to defer to Bruce's explanation, 'cause I just don't know. Thanks Bruce for the info.

That kydex sheath looks great.

I spent last week on the outer banks of North Carolina. I did a little fishing, only one keeper. Weather was not great with high winds and chilly temps, so most of my days were spent having fun with family.

I leave in an hour to head to West Virginia for Thanksgiving/deer season. I have 3 different 118's with me. i'll post more pics next weekend.
