The DesRosiers are back in the forge and headed to San Antonio!

I got to see that knife up close and it was a VERY deserving piece, congrats to both Adam and the new owner!

Haley had a little integral with a carved ebony or blackwood handle that I didn't see posted yet, and it was spectacular. She said she was just dabbling into wood carving, let's hope she keeps it up.

Eli, I believe this may be the one you are referring to:

Im standing there marveling at that big badass knife on the table and Haley asks me what kinda dog did I have....

At first I think to myself, "WTF, I can't smell THAT bad!" I look down and there was quite a bit of dog hair on my fleece. So that explained that! We spent a few min talking about dogs and deer. Good times!

There where a lot of fantastic knives at the show, the isles where kinda close together so it was kinda hard to get around, but what I saw, for my money... That big piece that Adam brought was the best of the show. If I could have walked out with any knife in the show, money no issue, It would have been that one.

Good to see everyone, at a show that I had no work to do! :)

Kevin, that's the one.

I loved that little knife -- light as a feather, quite elegant, and felt spectacular in hand.

Brilliant work all around, great that you have a new shop, even better that you are teaching the next generation.

Here is Haley at work in my just-published new book, "The World of Art Knives Vol. II",
from a section I named "The Feminine Touch"…

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Wow, Thankyou for including me and posting the page David. I'm very excited to peruse the 'ladysmith' section for camrades and the entire book for inspiration!
When I got your phone message from Israel it was too late to call back with the time zones. I walked back to the shop and told Adam that David Darom had called me. Being a smart alec he said 'Probably wants to put you his new book' I punched him in the arm and told him to quit making fun. I couldn't believe it when I found out! Thankyou again for the opportunity and everyone for the encouragement.

Ohh, deer - what a shop mascot!

Great looking knives you make, as are those of Haley & Vanessa.
