So they have these metal clip belt cases they send some of these " Sons" versions out with . I took the clip off ,made a pocket sheath out of it . This was back before I had HWilh000 HWilh000 make a few size versions out of the buffalo & other leathers he uses .
The belt clip sheaths from MC Cognet are super thick cowhide ,yet soft & supple ,pretty unique stuff

Some other knives MC Cognet makes ,these are what they call Piedmontese style ,a friction folder & I may have mis splelled that

Montpellier ,a sailors knife from the south of France ,brought back to modern time I think they said they used these in the 1800's

Most of the pictures I posted were previously taken & posted on social media groups . I'll have to try to find time to take a few others

Does anyone have the Fred Perrin model I do believe they call it a Vendedouke ? This is one I never sampled . I was hoping someone sees this ,and posts . How easy is it to pinch open ? Thanks in advance ,Vince

I have one, and it was the hardest of my Douks to open, but it has become easier after a while. YMMV of course
