This is the standard handle with a Higonokami profile blade in Bohler N690Co ss
This is a heavy duty model IMHO . All that I have ever had ,the springs were not as firm as some others ,but certainly not too light either. Other things to note ,the stock thickness on this steel version is slightly thicker ,but still has the thin flat grind they're known for . I have notused one enough but I feel this would be a great serious cutting tool that could take a tremendous amount of work on . I have these available on my site .

PS & edited in,this model ,also ,needs a lot of repeated oiling & " cyling" of the blade to " break in" but once it hits a certain amount of that ,the action is buttery smooth

Some.beauties Vince....Sorry about the eye... I know all about not seeing....Had a bowling ball sized rock fly out of a.dump truck rear dual tires. It was.like a bowling ball... Anyway smashed into my car windshield and blasted glass in my eyes and face........Fook me!.. .....Ive driven a.tractor trailer for 30++ yrs.. No way that idiot didn't know it stuck in there...........29 months ago... Still cant do more than 15 - 20 minutes of screen time and get headaches🙄.... ...Got some.vision back but.now feel blind because my vision was better than.20\20 before this.😥........ Seems life likes to crap on most.everyone at some point😉.....Hope all's well.👍

Apologies for the napkin math - I used the site you listed converted the Le Geants at 199,00 EUR to 216.92 USD, the below is for the basic one listed as well (for reference), The 58EUR was the quoted price for shipping and a box of 5 knives - so to 66USD/5 = 13.2

That would leave a US price of 230.12 is costs alone (excluding VAT is required on their end) - plus the listed headaches

I should have been more clear.

Right now ,it seems to me ,US Customs is the interference ( besides the extra cost) . Each ship out it seems theres new questions . I suggested to the Cognet firm the DHL ,which is more money ,but also they chose a more premium service . This was based on shipments from others using DHL .
The MC Cognet Co. is very trustworthy . With the current situation ,their hands are somewhat " tied " . I don't hold them resposible for any delays or problems/situations in the shipping process , but they have told me in the end they would make any loss up . So I wouldn't hesitate to order as long as you stick with the tracking and are patient .
