Those are amazing - but so are their pricetags! 🫣

DHL was 58 euro for a box w/ 5 pcs , then 18% follow up bill. Oh well you can always go get plenty of GEC’s

199,00 EUR to USD at 9:58pm = 216.92
64,99 = 74.20......
58EUR = 66 - divided by 5 each

Ship, fees, wait, trouble, effort, paperwork, potential loss on trip......

But this is weeds....

They were using Fed Ex but once the deliveries hit the Memphis hub, there was major delays and problems. My last delivery I suggested we use DHL and it was a lot faster. They used an up graded service, so there was more cost, but in my opinion was worth it because it was faster.
I feel sorry for a lot of these companies over there, some of them won’t ship to the US because of the situation currently

There is a company in Texas Knives of France. They used to be a dealer here, but I do not think so any longer. The fellas’s name is Stephane , he is easy to work with.
He has some of the regular models, not so fancy with decent prices on his website and there is a few guys on eBay where you can get the regular versions
I try to offer some that you will not find available here in the states

The graphics " Moorish - Star Theme "

The blade profile ,they call " Yatagan " ,to me I'd call it a clip ,California clip possibly ?

I've never subjected one of these versions to any hard enough use to actually test the integrity of the coating on the handle ,but they sure do have a very nice feel to them. I have described them as " Porcelain - like" . Honestly ,I was attracted to these handles sometime during the long recovery of my eyesight in my right eye. I guess it's 3 years now ,but I sneezed one night so hard I blew my retina out 🤷‍♂️ ,3 operations later ,now I can see pretty good almost normal . Somehow I got really attracted to looking at the art Funny that way ,how one's brain drives your thinking .🤷‍♂️

These versions have the 14C28N ss . The way they grind,a thin flat grind ,teamed up with this steel, these really cut great . The solid colored version ,has a grippier texture , really nice in my opinion. I have one of those that I punished & tested and I gotta say ,it heald up great . I did things to it that would have destroyed any traditional framed slipjoint . The very simple handle design is darn near indestructible

This is the one they call the squirrel . Large & small version. The blade the call " Bourbonnaise" it is a spear -sh drop point ish . Also a favorite . In carbon, hones to a wicked sharp edge . In my opinion the chrome plated handle version seen on these is the most slick

But I love the blade

I'm not sure of the timing ,but at one point the MC Cognet Co. on their website ,offered a " blade swap" type option ,a pre order type purchase option. The wait was not too long . But at least two deliveries to me at this time were hung up by customs for a very long time & it was very inconvenient & what a pain . A lot of people probably would have lot all patience . But the deliveries eventually did show . I ordered a pretty good amount ,so many that I found myself scratching my head for " scratch" lol ,when my bills were due .I sold a few and now regret it . But in the end they went to good people & I've since made friends with so really a great deal all around

I probably posted these in this thread before ,but I'm glad to have these
This one I actually use
