The Drawing Board

Thin is in. Thick knives sell to kids and fanboys, thin knives cut well. I like the spine of the corsair. Straight enough to be respectable with enough curve to still be sexy.

Well, now that you're gonna be all like that, and what knot(sic), I pissed off a FB Fanboi tonight when I asked him what possessed him to spend $1400 on a half kilo of Ti - he was less than impressed with my line of questioning. To each his own, I guess.

Note to John - don't do this ever. Titanium is rare and exotic; kinda like those pole dancers out in the oil patch...just leave 'em where ya found 'em. ;)

He must have sat in front of his grinder for a couple weeks to make that, Mecha could probably get 2 or 3 swords out of that piece of Ti. lol

Ha! I think that was the look I had on my face when I saw that.

Bubbles reminds me of what my uncle would look like if he dressed up like a nerd for halloween. I've only seen a few episodes of that show, but it's pretty funny.

They should call that "Fred Flinstoning"?:D

I think Mecha could make a battle axe out of that, thats a chunk!

Looks like there is some kinda dingle berry hanging off the lanyard, a Ti fire steel perchance? A worry bead, an anal bead, or maybe it really is just a dingle berry... :D

Let's start with this. I put letters and numbers so we can play it like battleship if theres a specific spot you want to point out for a change. Pick that apart and let me know.

3/32"
1/16" pins
Edge is 2.75"
OAL 7"

Hey what the heck happened to the pic?

I can see it.

I think I heard something about making a fresh batch of cookies if images aren't showing properly. Give it a try. I like white chocolate/macadamia nut. ;)

For what it's worth I like my handles a little on the thicker side now days and I don't like a lot of taper. I bought a Dan Graves knife not long ago and it tapers a lot and feels like it wants to slip out of my hand and pull the blade though my hand. Try dropping the bottom handle line down a little bit to line C just behind the ricasso and see how that looks.

More like this Scott? I agree, a little thin necked at first. I need to contour E27 a little.

Damn it worked! My wife made a batch of white and dark chocolate chip.;)

I agree Scott, something wasn't looking right and I couldn't figure it out I think you found it.

Agreed! Old broken hands just don't close as well, the larger grip might fit better. Looks good, John!

I keep trying to find a cowbell stamp. It would be cool to stamp a tiny bell on the ricasso.

Yes, thats looking better.
 I agree completely.

Great point Dennis.

I'm on my way, there better be some left when I get there in 30 hours!

I've thought about that, I'm gonna try to make one one day.

Keep pickin this thing apart and I'll get a mock up made. Thong hole? Finger indent? Palm swell? Blender attachment?

Thong hole - optional.
Finger indent - nope.
Palm swell - no. Palm wood - maybe ;).
Blender attachment - hmmm...

It needs a picatinny rail on top, a biometric safety and heated slabs. Oh, and a hole in the blade to attach a hex nut with a zip tie... and yes, a blender attachment. And a shrubbery. Not too tall...
