    Great. Thanks Dick.

So, how does one find out who to send it to next? Is there a list posted?

I never knew that Bill wrote some books, but that seems right.

I'd like to get in on the pass around if thats alright.

If some of you aren't comfortable with that I understand.

Like Andy I have no idea how I missed this thread. Guess I got it confused with the "Songs" passaround that Howard started that I am signed up for. I would definitely like to get in on this one as well, so please add me to the list.

I am sorry the original idea to post and discuss the book did not work out. I laughed a bit when I read about roasting a puppy. I know many of the plains tribes ate dogs, including the Crow and Cree, the Assiniboine, Gros Ventre and the Sioux. The Blackfeet did not eat them, and were horrified at the thought. Along with bears, horses and fish, they were considered sacred animals, and they would starve before eating them.

    Shipped it today.

Great story by the way. I wouldn't have minded that thing being a lot longer. It is a great read. Thanks to all who made it possible. I wish it was purchasable. I wouldn't mind reading it to Hannah when she was older.

If anyone knows how to get in touch with Alex I would appreciate it if you would either let him/her know or pass it on to me.

    Thanks,

All; I have already read this great book and just finished Bill's poetry book, when I remembered I have a scanner. I scanned "Songs of the Sand Country" to CD and would like to do the same with this. If it could be returned to me I would scan it, send it on it's way within a day and make copies available to whoever wants them.

Thanks, post, email or PM me.

    Dick

So, just following up: It's gone from Dick to Andy, to Alex and to Vampire Hunter right? I think I'm next? Just checking as I just got and devoured "Songs of the Sand Country" today.

    Thanks,

    Norm

Norm, when you finish with it please send it back to me and I will scan it to a CD like the other one, and then pass it along.

    Thanks, Dick
