The Endura gets NO respect!

lol. I could go for a bit of that too. BTw, how do you keep your White endura clean? Mine gets to turning light yellow or brown after a week or so of use. Using just water works, but requires a lot of scrubbing.

I know isn't that a pain is the A$$,getting old sucks.
As for the Endura,I use these Lysol wipes that my wife buy's,they seem to work great.

I think the Endura is a great knife along with the Delica. I had a SS PE Endura and used it a good amount and sold it to my Dad to get my Caly 3 but they are great knives and would not hesitate to get the FRN version instead of the SS but either way the Endura and Delica are both great hard working knives.

I got the British Racing Green ZDP-189 Endura today that I showed in the first post.
This is my second FRN knife and I must say I really like it. Not at all what I expected. I had a FRN Native that I gave away because it felt cheap. This knife is not like that...very very nice.

Dang IT!!!

I WILL NOT START COLLECTING SPYDERCOs...I WILL NOT START COLLECTING SPYDERCOs...I WILL NOT START COLLECTING SPYDERCOs...I WILL NOT START COLLECTING SPYDERCOs...I WILL NOT START COLLECTING SPYDERCOs...I WILL NOT START COLLECTING SPYDERCOs.

Any chance this chant works????

Not a snowballs chance in hell. :p

I used to say the same thing then a couple of weeks ago I ordered 2 within like 5 days of each other. The fact that you are here means it's all over with, just get the cc ready :p:p

OK OK!! I've been biten by the Spyder and I know it.

Well I stuck the new Endura in my backpocket today and the wife and I took the dogs for a hike. It just rides good in the pocket. Lite Lite Lite is an understatement. Its also significantly more rigid than I expected...locks up tight and doesn't torque. Finially, I used it to cut up a small bucket of green beans from our small garden. Now that's not a test for the ZDP but since it is slow work it is a good trial of how the knife feels in my hand. I'm again surprised at the quality and sturdy feel of the FRN. I knew the ergos would be good because I have the Foliage green G10 version. I'm flat out delighted with this knife. :)

The Endura may not be the latest "hot thing" in knives, but I think it is one of the best knives of any make that I have ever had. I carry an PE Armorers Endura every day...and if I didn't have that, I'd carry my 50/50 Armorers Endura...and if I didn't have that, I'd carry my SS Endura.

And if I didn't have that, I've got a couple of Police models, a Manix, a Kris, a large Wegner, a Captain, a Delica, a Polywog, a....

Yeah, the liners make a huge difference.

Yeah, the liners make a huge difference.

Do all the IV's have liners? I hope that Salt I bought has liners too.

I will say that this FRN knife has changed my feelings about plastic handled Spydercos completely. On my other thread in this forum I suggested a FRN Manix...now that's a change of heart on the plastic.

Frontline, HOW old are you actually? Don't say 29.... :D

Dennis

I'm still a young pup.
I just turned 25.

Frontline rhymes with 29,I got sick of trying to find new and cool name, that was not taken when registering.

I've read numerous threads where people just RAG on FRN handles or basically anything that is not G-10. I know that people have their likes and dislikes but to me I don't think Spyderco, or any other knife manufacturer, would use it if there were serious problems with them.

When I first got an endura, as well as my first FRN handle, I stupidly was concerned that the FRN wouldn't hold up very well. I was dead wrong. It is lightweight, durable, and is a great handle material.

D4s and E4s have liners. No Salt model has liners as far as I know; a salt must be completely rust-proof.

The Endura is a Classic. It's one of the best folder designs ever.
