Dunno' if the Air Force Museum is open at night, but if it is it's worth the trip.

Making an ass outta myself in the PIF thread.

WE all have our moments, mine are just longer than others.

P.S. "Stubborn mule" is not a curse word, leave it be. I don't wanna hear no flack about it as that's most definitely the context it's used in.

Fun stuff... An insulator failed on a utility pole outside the office, so we have a nice strobe light effect in here. Shut down computers and just sitting here watching he crew of firefighters watch the arcing waiting for the electric company show up. Needless to say, it's an impressive show.

In other news, seems as if I will be going on my business trip this next week, I will be in Miamisburg Oh. attending the Hexagon Metrology coarse. I will have all evenings off, so it there is any Beckerheads in the Dayton Oh. area that wants to get together for dinner, Let me know, Im gonna be bored as hell with no shop, no wife and kids, and Hell, no Murph for that matter for 4 days.

I was in Dayton 2 weeks ago for training.. same boat as you.. had some chinese food and watched movies on the hotel cable. Good luck fighting the boredom, I did walk down to Gander Mountain and look at guns for a couple hours, that was fun. :D

I'm glad Worldwood's BK17 is sold. It was REAL tempting (esp for where he reduced it to!) and I don't need to be spending the money right now.

lol, was thinking the exact same thing... don't really need or want a 17, but almost had to snatch it up at that price..

Its funny that you guys mention this, to make a VERY long story short, one of my best buddies in life who has unfortunately passed, and I totally handmade a hotrod tractor about 10 years ago, using a early 70's wheel horse and a 4cyl. 4 carbed motorcycle engine. It ran over 70 mph. had a lot of drunken fun on it. 3 local newspapers and the Indianapolis news channel did a big story on it after he died. Its on bad little tractor, Might take me a few days, but I will dig that stuff out and try to post it so you guys can check it out.

What better way to honor his memory than to mount a t-shirt cannon on that sucker and deliver some sweet sweet vengeance.

A couple buddies and I took and old craftsman mower, stretched the frame, swapped the rear end for one out of a 4wheeler and dropped a 250cc Yamaha in that biznatch. Unfortunately on it's inaugural run the clutch grenaded and took out the case. There was at least a foot of snow on the ground though so we pushed it out into the snow where it could spin the tires and my buddy got on and slammed it into gear. Managed to drive it around a bit. Eventually parted it out and had plans for some of it but he got married and started his own business and you know how things go with all that.

My problem is I need and want one. :D
My $20 bucklite max is making a great cheap tweener for the time being though and all my knife money is on hold for something I hear Todd has in the works for me.

I know the feeling bud!

I decided to drop the price since the knife i wanted to trade for was only 82-85, i might as well take 85 and go buy a brand new one myself.

Now just to decide if the Esee DPX Hest is a keeper or a seller. I like the knife just not sure if ill use it, its kind of "tacti-COOL" and draws a lot of attention for such a small blade, but again i like the design so im not sure yet on that one.

Wasnt that BK 17 that you guys are talking about the same one he hammered throught the stack of quarters? It was a good looking knife thats for sure.

True. Trust me, If I had the cash you would have had your new 9. Apparently collectors get pretty grumpy when you don't pay your student loans and I am kind of enjoying being ahead on them.

Damn Murph, you'll do anything for a beer, haha.

the bad thing about this is the FAA requires that a pilot must wait 8 hrs. after 1 single 12 oz. alcoholic beverage before they can fly again. so if he drank that, he would have to wait a while before doing it again. so it would take him 8 days to drink 1 case of beer. this is offensive to the avid beer drinker, considering it should only take 8 hours to drink one case of beer on any givin Sunday!.............BBBBBBUUUUUURRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I scared some kids tonight and my stomach hurts from all the candy and beer. Can you tell who I am?

Nice one, buddy. Although I have no idea who that is.

bored in ohio? plan ahead!

night one, drink, read a book, goto bed early, catch up on sleep. it'll be great!

during the day, surf for some stuff to do

night two, drink less, eat some GOOD food, scope out the locals. always fun. goto bed early!

night three, drink more! eat even better food you found from local with friends from class, take pictures of their antics, and post them

but read that book

this is a golden opportunity to kick back a little
