I think that we have had enough discussion on the proper way to wash clothes and move on to something more interesting. Like which fork to use when eating salad.
Finally a topic I know, Place Settings. The basic rule is 2 forks on the left(salad fork goes on the far left), then you have the charger/plate/bowl stack, then you have the knife (blade facing the stack) then the tablespoon, then the soup spoon. At the 1 o'clock position is the coffee cup/saucer and coffee spoon next to that goes the water goblet and next to that goes the wine glass.
The one thing that throws everything off, the Oyster Fork. The Oyster Fork goes on the spoon side. Which is just crazy!
those aren't part of the place settings, they are brought out with the course. The BK-9 is on the hip so you don't accidentally stab someone while buttering your bread.Again, Ladies Home Journal.
And.....amateur. You didn't include a place for the crab hammer OR the lobster cracker.....and I see no mention of the BK9 high I know is 'sposed to be in there somewhere!
^ Yeah, I know all about it. Had a first hand conversation about it with Mr. Busse himself.![]()

I still want to meet the guy just so I can do that... walk up to his booth at BLADE with a bottle and just beller at the top of my lungs...![]()
I was wondering where you have been. Putting up preserves or making soap or the like. I'm happy to see that you have been doing something useful. Those look great. Is that your ASHBM CG?

Thank YOU! I'm just catching up and just skimming, waiting for some SNARK, fer cryin out loud! WHAT IS THIS! The ladies ephing home journal? This whole laundry discussion sounds like the answer to a question on Family Feud: "Things people discuss when stoned". Hell with it - I'm just gonna skip to the end.

How long ago and from where did you get yours?
Im not sure which is current, from the looks and sound of it he expected them both to be the bottom onenot sure what the differences are, i wish i could look at the boxes to see if they have the same bar-code, model number... etc. to see if maybe one is old/new or 1095/5160 or what in the world the deal is.
