I wonder if Guyon knows how many knives he has?
I would love to see the semi-trailer that pulls up to a gathering for Biscuit, Bladite, and Ethan's collections... All in one place, all at one time. You'd need a frickin' museum just for the space!

Does anyone have experience staying in a hostel here? I have to work in Chicago next week but my general place to stay just got married and I don't want to stay there.
Depends where in Chicago. I've stayed at the congress hotel before, while I don't remember much about it, I think it was nice
So, how do I sharpen my 3? I have never sharpened a chisel ground.
Sharpen the side with the bevel and deburr the flat side.

Guyon, I know your sitting back hitting F5 laughing while all us mere mortals drool over your collection,

But what is your favorite off that table honestly? I have played with quite a few but my favorite is still the chopweiler, it might not chop the best, slice the best, or baton the best, but i love how it does everything i need in a little over a 7" blade.

Still id love to pick up a ASHBM and a Gladius, The Gladius just for fun :D These were indeed FUN :D

I'll just be content with modifying - for now. More leather, kydex, etches and steel works along with an upgrade in membership will be here soon, hopefully. And since we're talking non-beckers for a bit...

This is an Aitor Tercio. I had modded it in my mind before pulling the trigger, and after it arrived it was done, quite happy with the results. Stock:

nice solid feel to it. Next is FINALLY convexing my 2, a leather case for my kindle and a sheath for a marbles trailmaker. After that I'm gonna start making stuff to sell instead of making stuff for me :D

That always happens when we start talking about Busse.

Right? And this time we have one of the big dogs in red jumping it off, but if he wasnt involved id be counting down posts before someone said i/we was/were being disrespectful or something.

Im sure there are a few people with their panties in a bunch seeing all these pictures LMAO

Many of those Busses have gone on to other homes. Only some favorites remain.

Collection? Nah, not anymore. But my buddy TonyG has a pretty good Busse collection.

You obviously missed the Snark in my post. I didn't intend it as a quotable sig at all.

I don't think anyone objects to the occasional Busse post. Hell, even Ethan owns a Busse or two.
It just gets tiresome (and arguably a bit disrespectful) when Busse posts happen all the time. There's a forum for that.
I will admit though that the original Ratweiler is one of my favorite knives. Period.
That knife just suits me.

Speaking of non-Beckers, I have been Hornetized.

OK. Back to reality. My Opinel Garden knife with an oak handle arrived today. It has the same blade length as the #8 but the blade and handle are shaped differently. Cheap too.
