Me and Authoritative figures dont get a long so much, Id have no chance at being a mod. Hell i just got a warning 2 days ago. And the mod stopped even replying to my PMs. All i wanted was clarification too, I guess he was tired of talking to me.

Snark thread acronyms. Look them up in your Beckerhead manual.

The Snark thread traditionally lasts for 1,000 posts and is then locked. So on the last page, people post IBTL which means "In Before The Lock". But if you're a mod, you can reopen a locked thread and post "In After The Lock".

Thats EXACTLY what I said. I even said i didnt want to get another warning in the future because i didnt understand how i deserved that one.

The circumstance is, I thanked a guy in the PIF thread for sending me coupons to a store that doesnt support BF. But i said the name of the store, and i was warned for deal spotting.

But I asked how it was deal spotting, they said i was telling the other members that there are discounts and pointing members towards a dealer who is not a BFC member dealer. I was only thanking a member for sending me the coupons, and there was no deal without the coupon so I asked how I did either of those things? and asked if i said i got a gift card for my birthday to a restaurant and posted in a thread the name of the restaurant would that also be deal spotting?

I explained that I wasnt trying to say he was wrong or argue with him I just wanted to understand how I deal spotted.

I never got another reply.
 
Well if it was just a warning freaking man up and move on. The mods got more to do than PM back and forth with you about it. LMAO.........

Yea I said that too, I said I know its just a warning and i should just go about my day but i want to understand how i did something wrong...

But i did move on obviously, it was a couple days ago and it only came up now by chance because Ray mentioned I should apply to be a MOD.

Its not my 1st, and wont be my last. It doesnt bother me at all, I just wanted clarification.

And if they got time to warn or infract someone they should have time to explain the warning or infraction so people can learn from their mistake, but thats just my .02 cents on it.

Me either. I know they have a lot going on. I dont blame the mod at all and i was never upset with him as a person, but of course i disagreed. I think he was just in a hurry and didnt read the context of my post.
