The Flea Market Mung Absolution Thread

Ever have one of those moments when you are thinking, somebody please buy this before I cave? Then someone does and you think "*$#! I should have bought it!"

Will's production camp knife is going to haunt me for awhile.

I've had a string of those lately. It sucks.

More than once, the struggle is real!

Happens to me often when looking at the dealer pages.

I need one of those tactical cardboard sheaths that trestle is selling which is made by this priority mail company...LOL...made my day

WOW! Zardo made a killer score on the Ironwood Woodsman today on Fiddleback Friday.

Someone please advise on the appropriate protocol for bumping/reposting something I've got on the Flea Market thread. I thought I read somewhere that I should wait two weeks after the original post to bump it?
Thanks...from the newbie.

The two weeks applies to all of the other Exchange forums on bladeforums but there never has been a hard and fast rule here in the Flea Market. At one point people were bumping every other day but it seems to have settled back to about once a week or so. Also, IMO, if your sales post gets buried 5-6 pages deep, particularly if it's by a lot of dialogue or mung, then it's ok to bump it up. But like everything else in Fiddleback land, the rule of gentlemanly behavior applies.

Another tactic is to post your knife for sale in the Flea Market and then wait a few days and post it over in the Exchange: Custom Knives (Individual) forum. That way you can get your knife in front of eyeballs on a few different days in a few different places and bump on different schedules. Good luck!

Good to know Trestle! I was just wondering this myself earlier today. Will wait longer to bump a price drop next time around.
