Some real gems today. Was after an old school lady & this one will be perfect [emoji108]
Can someone please school me on the difference between "old school" and "new school" Ladyfinger knives?
Is "old school" along the lines of the original Bird & Trout...?
[Just guessin', here.]
Thanks!
~ P.
the Old School lacks a guard and the blade is slightly wider from spine to cutting edge
edit
the Ladyfinger I don't have a OSL.........yet

Hey Gents! I'm letting go of this amazing Apache (Osprey K&T), 8 3/4" OAL with 4 1/4 Blade, in Electric Plumb & Terracotta, 1/8" CPM-154, TT, Natural Micarta liners with Black & Pink pinstripes & Natural pins in the bolsters. This is Knife Only, as they come from Chris - this has Never been used or even carried - in new condition, not a mark on her - feels great in hand, as you know if own any of Chris' knives, he contours his handles perfectly...& the pinstripes line up perfectly, of course, this knife is a study in flawless fit & finish. I'm only letting her go to pay for a personal grail that just came up - thanks guys!
I'm selling her for $320 shipped - Firm - PayPal only - THIS IS SOLD!!.
This is the only pic I've got of it, as I haven't taken any of the knife myself....but yes, this is what she looks like!

Thanks, I'll make a note in my spreadsheet but it is super nice. I'd say it's a keeper. You never know though.Great pickup Warrior 108. Glad I didn't see it first because I love it and I can't afford it. If you ever decide to let it go, please remember me.
If I didn't own 6(including a buscraft puukko) I'd be all over that one at that price! Still very tempted even though I'm trying to downsize a little. Though I do love the BF/Hunter/Duke and Patch/Recluse/Leuku lines I think the HB is my favorite Fiddleback simply due to its non threatening size and functionality even though it doesn't afford me a full 4 finger grip. Just so comfortable in the hand! Thanks. I don't particularly need the money right now but I thought it would be a good chance for a newer user to get a handmade knife and join our collective addiction
I appreciate that I have argued against lower value sales in the secondary market, but after some consideration I believe that the products speak for themselves. It leaves a bit of extra cash for someone to participate in the next Friday sale.
So, rather than start high and reduce price, I decided to start low and then start raising![]()
A root beer dum dum would have already sold that hiking buddy
