The Forefather Bowie Is Coming Friday, Nov. 8, 2024 At 9:PM Eastern!!! . . . If You Have A Good Imagination, You Could Score One Heck Of A Discount!!!

It is called the Last Rites. I remember I bought it from Cobalt here on the forums and it is still one of the sharpest Busses I own.
I wish they would release a coated Last Rites. When it came out it was satin only...I have a coated budget 😪😉

🤘🍺🤘

Sold one kept one
I was hoping for a nuclear micarta 🤞
But no luck , but I like the Digicam g-10.
Sent it off to Ozarks Leather smith for some pants and I’ll post pics , also sharpening the top swedge when I get it back.

The black coating is not smooth more rough feeling not sure what changed or why?
I’m going to baton it though some logs and see how it holds up, Also I find the handle slabs are not custom fit to the knife. For $90 dollars they should be custom fit. The metal is rounded so that should help , but the metal sticks out from the scales which after chopping it won’t be very comfortable…
What do you guys who have regular slabs think? Are yours smooth feeling?

Funny, after seeing those handles it reminded me of this, similar color tone but not digicamo

Still wish the clip was like the drawing, but still pretty bad ass!

That pic of the swedge-- from that angle-- looks almost like the line drawing...well, besides line drawing had the swedge terminating right at the tip.

The line drawing also had the TGLB-like full depth plunge at both ends of the fuller. The FFB's feathered fuller is likely stronger with less stress points.

I've never been happier with an order from Wauseon as I am with my FFBs. :D

But, I'm not ashamed to admit I'd be first in line at the Busse Store for another 2 or 3 if the original concept saw production.

I don't remember the original concept. Was it without the fuller?

Awesome blade for sure and quality work and craftsmanship as always! Not too bad of a wait on this one either relatively speaking. However, both of mine were sold recently being too far from concept for my personal preference. Especially when it came to the swedge, which was drawn as a TG14 swedge but came with a Forsaken Gemini swedge. If I’m buying from a drawing on faith going forward I am personally going to need it to be closer to concept!

Still waiting seems stuck in good ol’ customs … Any one else order from Canada 🇨🇦… ??

What’s the Tariffs $$
🙃🥴🥃💨💨

Night time pics.🤨… I know… Best I can do after 12-hr mid shift. I’ll aim to get better ones when I can👍🏼

To to bottom…
- CF nuke, blk&gry G-10, white outer layer, thick neon yellow liners
- SW nuke, blk&gry…with a very outer couple of blk/blu G-10, thick yellow liners
- SW w/blk G-10
- CF w/blk&tan G-10

The SW model has very comfortable / smooth scales. It appears scales were on for the SW process. I really like the SW handle feel.
SW is on the right:

I’m very happy with how these knives turned out!

Nobody asked me, but I think this same handle with no clip and a 6.5 or 7" blade would be nice. Or an option for a dirk.

I agree. Nobody asked you :D

Seriously though, a shortie would be cool. I would love to see the exact same blade with no fuller.

The Nano TG LE with the Forefather coffin handle but no raised/rounded tang would be about perfect!
