I wish they would release a coated Last Rites. When it came out it was satin only...I have a coated budgetIt is called the Last Rites. I remember I bought it from Cobalt here on the forums and it is still one of the sharpest Busses I own.

I was hoping for a nuclear micarta
But no luck , but I like the Digicam g-10.
Sent it off to Ozarks Leather smith for some pants and I’ll post pics , also sharpening the top swedge when I get it back.

The black coating is not smooth more rough feeling not sure what changed or why?
I’m going to baton it though some logs and see how it holds up, Also I find the handle slabs are not custom fit to the knife. For $90 dollars they should be custom fit. The metal is rounded so that should help , but the metal sticks out from the scales which after chopping it won’t be very comfortable…
What do you guys who have regular slabs think? Are yours smooth feeling?
Funny, after seeing those handles it reminded me of this, similar color tone but not digicamo

That pic of the swedge-- from that angle-- looks almost like the line drawing...well, besides line drawing had the swedge terminating right at the tip.
The line drawing also had the TGLB-like full depth plunge at both ends of the fuller. The FFB's feathered fuller is likely stronger with less stress points.
I've never been happier with an order from Wauseon as I am with my FFBs.
But, I'm not ashamed to admit I'd be first in line at the Busse Store for another 2 or 3 if the original concept saw production.![]()
It had a fuller.. it was radiused at the ends like TGLB… but delivered result was TGULB shaped fuller ends.I don't remember the original concept. Was it without the fuller?

I can make that. Are your sheaths available with a belt loop (leather or heavy nylon webbing)? I'd prefer the pommel to ride at, or close to the top of my belt.
Nobody asked me, but I think this same handle with no clip and a 6.5 or 7" blade would be nice. Or an option for a dirk.
The Nano TG LE with the Forefather coffin handle but no raised/rounded tang would be about perfect!Nobody asked me, but I think this same handle with no clip and a 6.5 or 7" blade would be nice. Or an option for a dirk.
