I'm waiting on one of the Cyber Monday XM-18's. It's a Spanto with dark green scales - perhaps not the rarest configuration, but exactly what I hoped to pick up! It should arrive tomorrow.

Indeed it is. I've had a few Benchmades over the last 10 years but this is my first experience with the nicer knives and the online forums. I'm primarily into watch collecting (I post on most of the big forums under the same name) so I'll definitely post some interesting hardware in that thread when my XM-18 shows up.

Welcome congratulations on your XM! There may be rare combinations out there, but the 3.5 spanto is the quintessential. It's still the only one I own, and as much as I love the customs, I'm ok with that (for now at least).

I am set to get my lottery winning knife, the FDE DLC XM-18 today. I am super excited about this one. I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. I have to keep a close eye on the tracking, because since it's sig confirmation, I will need to leave work race home and look around. Estimating the postal carrier trajectory through my neighborhood is the tough part. Usually sometimes between 9:30am and 10am.
