The Hinderer Anticipation Thread - What Are YOU Waiting for?

I am waiting on a kubaton ti pen set. My handwriting is atrocious, so this pen can nothing but enhance it...I should have been a doctor.

Ahh! I missed the mailman and my grail is on its way back to the post office and won't be available for pickup until tomorrow. Patience is not a strong suit of mine at all. This sucks!

J81 nothing like getting excited then have it vanished. I agree about patience although I've learned that "patience is what you have when there are too many witnesses"

Jensen81, I empathize with your situation. I read you post just prior to leaving for lunch to go home and wait for my first XM. No knock on the door I check my mailbox on the way back to the office and surprising find mail already delivered but with no notice of attempted delivery. I spend the next 10 min driving the neighborhood to find my mail lady who tells me she is driving a larger truck today so another driver has my package and he should be in an area less than 1 mile away. The creep in me stalks another another white truck and shock myself again when I find it 15 min later . Story end there when I find out he traded his route with another driver who has my priority package and not sure when and where she will be. Never been so disappointed after taken a 2 hour lunch. So close yet so far.

"patience is what you have when there are too many witnesses"
Lot of truth there.

Tannin how frustrating, like the USPS is playing hide the pea under the shell game with you!

I received some essential oils from San Clemente, CA yesterday for a Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law through USPS. They were very timely in delivery, however due to poor packaging 7 out of 14 15 ml bottles were crushed. The seller placed the thin flimsy gift box with the bottles into a USPS white envelope w/o any packaging material and shipped 3000 miles to my address. The envelope was dripping with a montage of various oily fragrances saturating the Mail Lady's mailbag and other people's mail. Fortunately there wasn't a Mail Distribution Center evacuated due to the dripping liquid.

After contacting the seller and "discussion" new shipment on its way with extra packaging material, told the seller that USPostal Service put them on government "watch list"

You will not have to worry about your XM, the knife is a tank, and shipped with styrofoam peanuts.

Right now all I'm waiting for in an answer back from Rob to my latest email.... :p

I am now officially waiting for my blue TI screws to go along with my blue ti pivot and standoffs that have been waiting for their counterparts to be available before being installed on my XM. Blue looks great with textured CF. (So does bronze really but I am going with blue for now.)

Ran out last night around 8pm to pick up an extra extension cord (putting lights on the tree) and took a detour to the post office. Diligence paid off. Went to the dock entrance in the back and found the supervisor on duty who cool enough to go find my package. Either that or he was tired of hearing complaints of a stalker in my neighborhood chasing down delivery trucks all day. Now I will spend the next 48 hours removing the skin off my index finger as I perfect my flipping technique. My first Hinderer in my favorite color:

Congrats, and by the way the joy never goes away it grows to the point where a companion is needed if it already doesn't exists, maybe a 3.5 will be next. Any hoot nice knife!

Got an email from Rob the other day, it cost me a few Franklins. Oh, the anticipation........ :p :D

Congrats! Glad to know I'm not the only one who stalks the mailman!
