Just found out last night that the HOGFSH I thought I once owned was actually a snakeskin MOASH:o, so I went and jumped off a cliff! Fortunately for me it was a small cliff and I survived the crASH. I'm still feeling REGRETFUL (and I know I'm not supposed to), but there's only one thing that can make me feel better...

If Busse Combat would just feed us some HOG B8... I'd not only feel better, I'd feel GREIGHT!!!!;)

Hey, the Boss was right... 2015 is an epic year in the Busse world after all! The Hog Bait can finally be snagged! :thumbup::D

Can someone who owns both a B9 and B10 tell me if there's any difference in blade width between the two? Are they similar or is the B10 slightly wider? I'm trying to gain perspective on what the B8 might be based on the B10.

Oh, and HELL YES! :D

Y E S !!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Bossman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cat, happy, one each!!!!! :D----:thumbup:

Something that I had posted in another thread regarding the (then mythical) Basic 8;

I am not as concerned about thick or thin per se, but the balance of the blade. At 8", it should have some decent chopping ability, like a FSH of the same size, so it should have a slightly blade heavy balance. With a partial tang and the Resiprene handle, the Basic 8 will probably need stock on the thin side, so as not to make it too blade heavy.

We can hope that in the past four years Jerry and crew have tried many variations to get the handling properties dialed in.

So the wait is finally over ... well, we still have to wait a little bit for the 'Ganza announcement, and to finally see the specs. It would be hard to understand how it might be done in two thicknesses and still have the right handling characteristics. The Basic 10 seems too neutral in hand to me, whereas the Satin Battle Rat of almost the exact same size just feels better.
