Hello everyone- just ordered myself a Chophouse in 1/4", just had to, anyone else?

Basics rule :thumbup:

Way to go Rags!:D:thumbup: I went with the 3/16" version and the skinner.

Congrats, Tom :thumbup:

This issue with the thickness is all about taste- thin makes a hell of a fast in the hand chopper, which is a lot of fun. I went with the 1/4" as i had my SOD in mind and the SOD with its heavy 1/4" blade, chops like a much larger knife than other 7" blade normally doo. Both are greath fun i can imagine.

Btw, the skinner looks killer cool, but i didnt go for it (just got a message from another member that he got an ekstra Trash 1 which he is willing to part with- Cool...:thumbup::D

CONGRATS to you Both!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Hopefully you have some spare change left over for next Wednesday's release of the HOGB8!!!;):D

I'm too busy/lazy to find it myself, if its even out there. So I'll ask here. Is there a thickness difference between the basic 8 LE and the coated basic 8 Combat grade?

Thanks

Not sure me neither, cant see why. Due to my eksperience with basics, the CG versions has stronger edges, so if you want a beather go for the CG, netiher of them would dissapoint you i`m sure. Due to the ergonomics basics are awesome user knives :D
