Mr. Pirtle... Sorry, I was chuckling so much from the part about your daughter getting ahold of your phone, I completely missed the part about your missus being in the hospital. I hope and pray she's already made a full recovery my friend. Give her and the little one my best.

PTPO...Those are BASICly the best pictures I've seen this month!!!

Thanks for letting them play in the woods together and sharing the pics!!!

Gotta say though, it seems your missing something.;)

Bear camp is coming up in a few weeks. Still trying to decide on battle rat or my basic 8 for camp chores. And gen 1 howling rat or basic 4 for hunting. Or might go traditional and take a Randall made. Pretty sad when I start stressing on what knives to bring weeks in advance. Lol.

Of course the answer is.... YES!;)

Oh, and that stressing part is normal....I think!:D

Aaaaaaaaaaaand...

GOOD LUCK ON THE HUNT!!! We'll be needing pics when you're back.

Both are fine implements...I got an R9, basically the same knife as the BR minus the Res-C and it'll outchop the B8 in my usages.

But if you only needed to chop, everyone would carry hatchets...

AND...this is after all, THE B8 thread....just thinking out loud. ;)

It's winter time... Take the lighter, easier to keep clean, food friendly, slicier (is that a word), satin and more rust resistant 8" INFI/Res-C blade....you know you want to and it will look prettier in camp.:D

C'mon....someone bring us up to 7K posts in this INCREDIBLE B8 Thread....HURRY!!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
