Which style for the satin HOGB8?

Epic indeed!!!! The HOG B8 will be the one the breaks the mold for all resin handled knives to come, while having the capability to break everything and anything in its path!!!! The carnage will be grEIGHT!!! It's coming...
 
Rather than start a new thread I figure I'll ask here and throw this thread a free bump :)

I have only dabbled in basics over the years, have a Fatty 4 LE, classic B3 and a 311.. Lately I have been getting an increase in requests for sheaths for the Basic 8 and think I "need one" on hand.

Other than thickness for the finish, are there differences between the coated B8 and the LE's?

I'm pretty sure the coated 8's have the exact same profile as the LE's, but I haven't handled both side by side. Hopefully someone who has one of each (or Jerry or Garth) will chime in adn confirm that.

I've had both side by side (sold my coated one to Jelly ^^^ above), and there were no differences that I could discern with the naked eye, but no official measurements.

Bring on the HOG B8!!!!
 
It's mid October....

HOGB8's for Christmas maybe or are we too late for that?:D



Maybe they'll come out in time for INFI Fools Day.:cool:

Just got these pics today from Josh @ REK....I'm stoked!!!

After adding jimping decided to change tack and I asked him to erase it and add thumb divot...

Got to looking at the finished pics and said to myself..."that profile looks really familiar...hmmmm....something about the meltdown & drop point and the new thumb groove........" :D:D:D

After about 3 nanoseconds, I exclaimed at the computer screen <frighted my wife at the same time>..."HOT DA*N! It's a ______________!":thumbup:

Any of you Master B8ers care to fill in the blank?
