Thanks Will, do remember that you did explaine this some time ago, optical illusion it is. :thumbup: Same old trick you see on these old school Basics:

Guess i`m gonna do this to my spare B-8, will make it even faster in the hand. Thanks for posting. :thumbup:

Very fast, thinner/pointier point and still retains plenty of chopping power when you set your hand firmly in place against the rear of the handle. The increased speed gives it a very crisp snap cut -- one stroke on up to 1"+ green limbs/brush, and easily goes through 2" stuff with only a few whacks. And the complete package, knife and sheath, weighs less than a pound. I'm sold. :thumbup: :cool:

Me too- Sold! :thumbup::D

If you decide to do it yourself and like this profile, the start and end of my clip line are as follows:

Clip starting point: Measure out along the top of the spine from the handle 3".

End of clip at new point: Measure along the curve of the edge 3/8" down from original point. I just used a straight-edge ruler and followed the curve of the edge for 3/8".

On mine, the clip is a straight line between these two points.

Ya think some more eye candy might get us over the 500K mark?

Ooh Ooh... I DO, I DO!!!!!

PLEASE Keep 'em Comin' Fellas!!!! I'll check back myself often enough to get us over the 1/2Million mark!!!:thumbup:

PS - I LOVE ME SOME WAR FEATHER PICS....Thanks for sharing those Will!!!;)

Aaaaaaaaaaaand....

We are now less than EIGHT Hundred replies away from hitting the 8K mark!!!

Hopefully, that's all the Boss is waiting for until he announces the release of the B8LE's chunky brother...

the HOG BEight!!!!:thumbup::cool:

Let's do this!!!

As Bambi enjoyed a unexpected, yet welcomed sumptuous winter bounty, Ragnerok took a deep drink from his already half-emptied glass of Akvavit and muttered to himself as he stropped his Basic 8, "Eat hearty my friend, Enjoy! Soon you will the guest of honor at my dinner table--- inside here with me, next to my fireplace where it is warm and cozy....bwahhahahahahaha!"

NO REGRETS! that is, unless you're a deer who's unlucky enough to partake of Ragnerok's winter chum pile! ;)

Waaaay too far down on page one for comfort. Let's get this back up top where it belongs!!!

Did someone say HOG B-Eight? Hmmm, must be the wind.

Bump, just in case there was a whisper from Wauseon.

Way to go Will!!!!!

Your thread is without equal!!!!!

That 500k milestone should be a minor clue as to how loved the B8 is around here and how much desire for more versions are out there.

THANKS for starting this thread Buddy.... IT IS EPIC and it's been a FUN ride so far!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
