Yeah, a little wobbly--might have something to do with 1300' of elevation gain in the mile and a half prior to pic. :D
 
Yeah that might be a contributing factor...I'd be more worried about my "jake-brake" on the way back down:eek:
 
Yup, knees were talking to me on the way down. Time was I could do 3K elevation and 15+ miles at a whack no problem. Now I totter along best I can--still love it, tho.

Actually, the original B8LE is a great woods knife, and I carry it regularly when off trail scouting or in unfamiliar country or iffy weather. It's such a great knife for limbing out poles for shelter, splitting wet wood to get to the dry inside for a fire, etc. But for a day hike up a familiar trail on a clear day, a B5 is always welcome. :thumbsup:
