Locking this thread wouldn't do anything, but if you locked ALL THE OTHER ONES DOWN.......

....NOW THAT
would get a response I bet!!!

Hi Will,

I am new to Busse knives and knife collecting. I read a lot of your reviews, which prompted me to order a battle mistress (have not received it yet)!! Thank you for that. You are well informed :)

Question for you:

Is the team Gemini for $387 (on Busse's website) a sale price? I thought it was listed at a higher price when I ordered my mistress, but I am unsure.

Can you please advise?

Thank you,

Greg

Hi Greg,

Thanks for the kind words and welcome to GoogleKnife...er...I mean Bladeforums. :)

I suggest you call the shop and ask, as Lexi and the girls are very friendly and helpful, but in my experience I don't recall the TGLB being offered at a higher price than that from the shop.

Thanks for bumping our post count on this mission-dedicated thread--don't be a stranger. :)

Will

Ok thanks Will appreciated... Glad I could help.... My decision to spend $832 (wow) on a knife was large in part to the group of people that have an unrivalled passion for the knives. I figured they must be amazing. I can't wait, although it will probably be another 2 months....

Let us know when you get it and post a photo or two--most of us are gluttons for any INFI fix we can get, whether real or vicarious.

Again, welcome--glad to have you aboard.

Will

This is known as the dreaded Double Post. Of course I did it on purpose, just to serve as a lesson.

And if you believe that, I have a mint-condition Busse folder I could sell you. ;)

Thanks! I will let you know with some pics..... Do you have any personal favourites? Any good values or models you recommend?? My collection is bare and would like to add a couple pieces...

Lol (just noticed your double-post comment)... Yeah, why no folder? I see pretty much everyone begging for it

As for the folder, it remains a mystery why Jerry hasn't yet introduced a full production model in INFI.

Almost as much a mystery as why we're still without a Basic 8!

The Team Gemini has been a huge favorite here--can't go wrong at that price.

Personally, I'd also recommend taking a look at the Basics with Resiprene-C (hard-rubber-like material) handles. They are light weight, strong, with excellent ergonomics, and are some of the most reasonably priced of all Busse's. Not as sexy looking some might say, but great, great users.

Hopefully in the near future you'll have the opportunity to buy a Basic 8 -- should be a great choice, a great knife, and a great buy!

Are the B10's convex or full flat? I swear I thought they were full convex, but I'm getting a full flat vibe now.

Will, I really like that "favorites" thread. So many people posting wrong answers, though.

I don't have a B10--don't know. Glad you liked that thread, but are there really any wrong answers? Okay--maybe the seahorse. ;)
