The Team Gemini has been a huge favorite here--can't go wrong at that price.

Personally, I'd also recommend taking a look at the Basics with Resiprene-C (hard-rubber-like material) handles. They are light weight, strong, with excellent ergonomics, and are some of the most reasonably priced of all Busse's. Not as sexy looking some might say, but great, great users. :thumbup:

Hopefully in the near future you'll have the opportunity to buy a Basic 8 -- should be a great choice, a great knife, and a great buy!

I need a proxy for a B8 at Knob Creek and/or Blade...........surely Jerry is quiet because he is busy steadily grinding Basic 8s for the huge amount of orders to come!

Welcome, New Guyy; The Busse AMS (still avalaible on the website), is one of the best small Busses to be made- take a look. Worth waiting for the Basic-8; will be one of the best and most versatile knives to come from Busse...Lightweight with a blade large enough to handle most chopping chores, comfy Res.-C handle which gives the knife a very good balance perfect for chopping. With a choil you will have the opportunity to choke up the knife for finer cutting, too.

I feel a sense of hope since Jaxx stepped up. I'm damn near euphoric. This must signal the light at the end of the tunnel--light reflecting off the satin blades of thousands--maybe tens of thousands--of beautiful Basic 8's.
