Which style for the satin HOGB8?

Whaaaaat?

Is this really happening? I know there’s been shipping notices, but I still haven’t wrapped my head around these actually delivering.

My status is still awaiting shipment...
 
Has there been confirmation how this thick slice of bacon is getting stuffed inside the Basic handle?

Is it being trimmed down to fit? Or is the handle cavity being expanded to accept it?

This restriction made stuffing a .350" thick tang into them impossible. We couldn't just make a thicker tang because it would, in turn, make the sidewalls of the Resiprene C handle drastically thinner.

So, we solved the problem by milling the tang down to fit the slot. A radius at the front of the tang maintains the integrity of the blade/tang juncture while lightening the handle and overall weight of the HOGB8.

Exactly! I save on shipping but they get me with the taxes - Buckeyes not bent but doubled over - The other caveat is, I don't even get a shipping notice so it's even more mysterious for me and I kind of like it, I get to avoid that "twisting in the wind" trauma -
