Well, here's the story gang. . . . We are currently waiting on the steel we need for this project and the mill is telling us that it may be 4 - 6 months before it hits our shop floor. . . .

So, have a beer, grab some chips, and stave off your hunger with some other INFI delights.

Was just counting on my fingers and toes, and realized something earth-shattering (for me ;)). The date of Jerry's post above was April 16, projecting a time-frame of 4-6 months. That would make an early release date possible in August, less than two months away.


So as a public service announcement, thought I should remind everyone to be sure you're on Pokey's email list. And start paying down those credit cards--don't want to get caught with a maxed-out card if Jerry makes an unexpected announcement in the next six weeks or so. :eek:

Early, I know--but YOU KNOW how hard Jerry is to predict. :D
 
Amen to that prediction!:D However, Jerry's time reference was in regards to when the steel is shipped to them, not the knives actually being produced.;)
 
BRO! Once he gets the steel, he can make the knives. No?

The fact that he could specify the exact dimensions of INFI bars he wanted from the mill suggests he's already hashed out the set-up logistics on these.

SLAP those puppies...into production. THAT'S what I'm talkin' bout.
 
The no-choil idea is really growing on me for this knife. I'm usually a choil guy, but I'm seeing a lot of applications/versatility in this design...

EDITED TO ADD: This is not a Busse product. This is my Photoshop attempt to approximate what a no-choil version of the Basic 8 might look like.

If 4 months is August, than 6 months is October...

You know what goes down in October (specifically, 10th-12th?)
