Nice get Dubz! I picked up a Wilson's leather a couple years ago. Frickin' fantastic jacket. The only reason it was in the Outlet store was cause the sleeve linings are slightly longer than the sleeves. It doesn't bug me any since I got a $600 for $50. I was trying to figure out how to shorten the linings but then I decided I didn't care. LOL!

Hey Dubz, had a visit from someone in your neck of the woods today, Bob Murray was in my area deer hunting, he came by the shop to check the place out. He's a good customer of mine. He said hes spoke with you a few times and your new piece of property is close to him. Whadda great guy he is. I really enjoyed his visit and meeting him and his boys.
In other news. I think T.M.Hunt custom knives just "hired" its second apprentice. Lol, as you all know, my 10yr. Old boy is itching to learn the craft and how the tools work. Mom and I have been a little reluctant to turn him lose. I told him when the time was right, under strict supervision we would do some knife project together. Today, he came to me with a whole notebook full of his own knife designs he drew himself. Begging to be able to do a project himself. Granted, there from a 10yr. Old. But the imagination is there, and his willingness is overflowing. I cant hold him back anymore. I think very soon your gonna see some Jared Hunt knives. He also asked me when he gets older if I would hire him to work in his shop. Lol. Love that boy, look out Murph, he's after your job!

So cool that you're bringing your boy into the work. From what you've told me about him, I'm sure he'll exceed any of your expectations!

He already exceeds my expectations and I'm very excited to see what kind of stuff is in his head. Both of my kids excell in artistic ability, I just hope they can use it in a positive and useful manor. My boy seems to also be blessed with mechanical ability as well, I think it will be interesting to see what comes from him. My daughter, not so much mechanical ability, but photographic and drawing ability. Hope she does something with it as well.

Yeah, I'm more or less not posting anything on facebook tonight. That was the ONLY message I was gonna post, I'm listening to a couple of scanners just to make sure my friends are safe (and see if I have to work tomorrow)

Well, what really makes me feel like a real P.O.S. is the fact that Bob that I mentioned came by for a visit, was with his 3 boys, fine young gentleman by the way, but when they left my house they where going home right on the other side of all that bullshit happening in Ferguson. If I would of known that, I would of put them up for the night and let that crap cool down. I sent him a text. He says he's taking back roads, but still wish I could of helped him out a little.

For the record, for the burgers I am making (tomorrow now) I have some fresh ground sausage, some ground sirloin and some ground lean beef. Gonna also ground up some Benton's to throw in the mix, then top it with some chipotle gouda, and some 3 pepper havarti and some avocado.

Well that does make me feel better, I just know he said it was close enough he was taking the long way home. Which made me think maybe I could have done more for him.
