. At least it wasn't a giant slab of 2,000 year old redwood or the like. Seriously, it happens to everyone who has ever worked with wood. To err is human....so lift up your little woody chin and get on with it.

The Michael Brown/Darren Wilson indictment announcement was tonight. The actual decision was made at 2:30pm today, but they waited to announce till 8:00 pm tonight. Since then St. Louis has erupted into rioting, looting, and anarchy. So far SEVERAL buildings have been burned down, streets are getting shut down completely, there have been a couple "Officer Down" calls, and several "Officer in distress, retreat" calls. It is other side of the city from me, however it's still only 15 ish miles away.Looks like i need to hit google and see whats going on. I have no idea what you guys are talking about. In other news. I think T.M.Hunt custom knives just "hired" its second apprentice. Lol, as you all know, my 10yr. Old boy is itching to learn the craft and how the tools work. Mom and I have been a little reluctant to turn him lose. I told him when the time was right, under strict supervision we would do some knife project together. Today, he came to me with a whole notebook full of his own knife designs he drew himself. Begging to be able to do a project himself. Granted, there from a 10yr. Old. But the imagination is there, and his willingness is overflowing. I cant hold him back anymore. I think very soon your gonna see some Jared Hunt knives. He also asked me when he gets older if I would hire him to work in his shop. Lol. Love that boy, look out Murph, he's after your job!
