The Jedi have superior numbers on their side as well. But in all honesty, the (im)practicality is contingent upon the style of use. If you're not doing all that flashy spinning and flipping, then it could be quite useful with just a minor design tweak.

I'd haunt Craigslist for a Tarpon 140. It'll be a solid boat that will hold you and your gear just fine. I've seen Moose sit on the side of his 120 and he ain't exactly a gimlet.
