The "I got nothing" thread

To be serious for a while....

Try to enjoy the "nothingness". Sometimes I wish I had nothing to think/do/take care of, just for me to exist there and then.

How deep was that??

I had something. I had been wanting to try Buck knives for a while now. Finally ordered a Vantage. Got it today. Super excited. The GD thing is defective as all get out. The lock will not engage at all. Very bummed out about it. I'm not really mad at Buck. Shit happens. I'm going to return it for another, but man... what a bummer.

I thought I had a knife.

Now I got nothing.

Mr Becker needs to get some pics of those tweeners up so we have something to talk about!

I used my Gerber Profile to separate the drumsticks of chicken quarters at a bbq last weekend (Sorry folks , no BK2 yet). Also used up most of my cotton balls/Vaseline to light the coal bbq with fire steel . My friends were amazed by my "Survivor abilities" .
A day before yesterday I used my BK14 to open the box of my brand new Dell 23" display , and then stuffed some of the soft screen protector into the sheath , so it stopped rattling .
I think this thread looks too much like my facebook page .

So you at least went out and took an actual picture of grass (as opposed to snagging the pic from the net)? That's something anyway. :p

Sorry to trash the thread, but I just got 3 aluminum arrows with artificial fletching and screw-on field tips, and I'm gonna shoot my old bow again on the weekend!

This morning I had coffee, then nothing. Later, I have to mow the grass, before it rains. The weekend is here, and it's going to rain 3" tonight, so more nothing. Gas is too expensive to get out to the Forest.
As soon as we get our trailor back, I will have to cut down a couple of dead trees, and haul them down the hill to the burn pile. It's a 15 year old pile, it's pretty big, and ground hogs live in it, so my Pitbull tells me. So, at some point I'll have some chopping to do, then some burning, then back to nothing, but mowing.

foxx, how much is gas at the moment? I think we pay like 4 times more than you do, so stop whining :D

Honey nut cheerios again. Have a horrible cold or some kind of goofungaloola. Probably should start on my income tax. That's all I got.

Hey meat, gas is 3.79 here.

Ordered an IzulaII kit from ksf, they sent me and Izula I kit. Had to return it and I don't think it even got there yet, such mistakes are costly when your shipping across the border. It left a bad taste in my mouth so I told myself no more knives till tweener time.

i got nothing either...seriously, my buddy just bought my bk-2 with micarta for $60 earlier tonight...my last becker  do i need to surrender my beckerhead # or something? i'd like to stick around here anyway if you guys don't mind :o

bro what are you carrying in your vehicle? you could have surrendered that bad boy to auto duty like I have :D... no need to surrender you number as you are not a number but a free man !!!

I dig the scandi grind myself and I really don't think its a bug but a way of life:), NOTHING compares.. with that said, what do you use to chop, or baton with... IMHO, I think the total minimalist rig consists of a 'chete with convex/ scandi grind, rounded, squared etc.. a mora, and a folding saw............ oh and you can throw in a BK11 for good measure :D

BLASPHEMY !!!!

OP: BTW, you don't need a new knife to go out and enjoy your old knives, or have something to post about, besides if swung right the BK2 resembles and emanates a lawn mower blade.. :D

we think alike, not good for you  my recent overnighter was close - lite machete, spyderco bushcraft, and gb axe...that little mora toppled a couple of titans (bk-9, bk-2, bk-11, izula, esee-4 all gone because of it). if the mora doesn't get assassinated by the junglas in the middle of the night, it too might go

It's going to rain ALL WEEKEND here so I guess it's time to clean the workshop.

yeah, we're watching the weather closely. why does it have to freaking rain on a weekend?! i think we can sneak in a quick biking tomorrow morning though...and off to spend a rainy afternoon oogling more gear i don't need at campmor :D

2.20$ (1.52 EUR) per 1 liter here in Israel , and that's for self service . I'll whine as much as I want .

Edit : Sorry , didn't notice it was meant for foxx . I'll still keep whining.

Tradewater, you do have something to post. I've always heard of the blue grass of Kentucky and now I've seen it. Never been to your great state and the photo makes me extremely envious. Where was the photo taken?

Vin
