The "I got nothing" thread

On my pond levee. Come on down, you'll like it. I've always wanted to get up in your neck of the woods. Heard it was really nice up there.
 
Well, I got nothin too. No new knives, sheaths, or money, & thanks to a $1253 truck repair bill, I'll have nothin for quite a while. But i do have a truck that drives better than new, so IDK if that qualifies a sumthin or not, cause i sure fell like i got nuthin ! LOL :D
 
I used to have somethin'. Then the definition of somethin' changed, and now what used to be somethin' isn't nothin'. Now what I have definitely isn't somethin'.

Once again, I gots me some beers (Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale and Anchor Steam tonite), so I guess I got somethin'. I'll try to refrain from posting when I'm fully in the bag. I love how this place is boozer-friendly. :D

Went to the movies tonight & stopped along the way. Now i got sumpin. Not a Becker though. I finally got the Gerber i've been eyein up for a while. It was on sale for $5 off & then i got 15% more off of that. So i got me a Gerber Metulious for $29. I like it. Full width full tang & jimping. Cheap ass China sheath, plastic lined though. I think it would make a good companion with the BK9. So, anyway, now i got sumpin, so i'm out !

Damn, it's Monday. No good work. Tax time means nobody cares about their cars for a while. Sweeping my bay and cleaning my tools. I got nothin'.

Yeah I sorry; I would have to agree with Flexxx on this one. Not a big fan of the Gerber knives. I don't know how many I've seen broke off at the tip. They are what everyone had while I was in the Navy and everyone came to me to 'fix' it. What I did was put a tanto style tip on it since there really wasn't much else you could do with it.
 
Well, it CERTAINLY ain't no Becker, & i never said it was, but i like it. Fits my hand, great traction on the grip, jimping seems to be usefull & after 10 min, it is scary sharp. It is a light duty knife for sure, but compared to a Becker, is'nt that true for most brands ? :D
