I'm thinking of getting an Izula in addition to the my RC-4 but i'm wondering, how does the Izula fly when it comes to throwing?

It's not made to throw, period. IMO, if anyone wants a throwing knife they should buy a throwing knife. 57 Rc is not made for throwing. I have never understood why people want to throw tools that are not made for throwing.

To add to that, I would rather replace a knife that was intentionally broken in a vise than replace a knife that was broken from throwing. Throwing a cutting knife is just plain ignorant and stupid, IMO.

Jeff i concur. i can however see why some people would think to throw the izula due to its skeletonized design but like you said, if you want to throw a knife, then buy a throwing knife!

.... i just dont see any rat knife i have up for throwing ... and i havnt seen even throwing knives that are good for it... i havnt seen rabbits or squirrels hit with a knife... or ax..... if you like throwing darts then i can see the appeal of knife throwing... but in general it isnt that useful of a skill.... now i have seen small game including small deer killed with stuff like rabbit sticks and sling shots of various discriptions....

go buy some lawn darts if u wanna throw something ,try not to stand under as they come down... o-hell never mind lawn darts this day and age are made by Nerf .... get the ones from the 70"s ,those were fun, until someone gets hurt

I throw my Izula all the time.

Throw it in my pocket, throw it in my pack, throw it in my center console.....

Someone is gonna get an eye poked out with this thread.

Im not going to lie...

I have held the Izula...looked at it...looked at the wooden garage wall...flipped it around my hand a bit...

Nah. Decided against it. I imagine that it would throw pretty good...but mine gets a good enough beating just throughout a normal day.
