The jackknife starter kit- GAW over winners announced!

Thanks fishcakes! I appreciate your generosity! I'm quite looking forward to this, as I haven't ever carried a peanut. Email sent, please advise if not received. Thank you so much for the opportunity:D my collection is growing without the use of money, just as my wife prefers(insists, but whom am I to quibble). Definitely need to get my GAW game face on.
Thanks, Neal

Congratulations on winning those cool peanuts, P38s, and Sears 4-ways, Neal and bflying and H&S and Knifenut880 and Opus!:cool: Looking forward to hearing who won the flashlight. ;)

Thanks for your generosity, fishcakes and AlwaysTomboy!:thumbup:
(I noticed that opus has had 24 posts in 12 years of membership, so he/she may not be a real regular reader!)

Fishcakes and Alwaysatomboy-I was the lucky recipient of the package containing the flashlight. Thanks to you both so much for your kindness and generosity, I couldn't believe it when it showed up today. Perfect timing for this stay at home dad with an energetic 2 year old struggling a bit today! The knife is great, or will be once I'm finished touching up the blades, and I love the four-way. Somebody will have to explain the p-38 to me(I know it opens cans, but what else...?). The flashlight is amazing! So much light from such a little 'un! Now, if I can only keep it away from my wife(who was finally impressed by something in one of my hobbies :) ) and my 2 year old , who already shows signs of his dad. And likes to steal his flashlights. ;) At least he doesn't take my knives-yet! Give him ten years, if that... Anyways I just wanted to say thanks again, it really came on a great day.
Thanks, Neal

Congrats, I just bought myself a new edc flashlight about a week ago so it's good that I wasn't the one who got it.
I'm also not exactly sure what the p-38 can opener gets used for edc wise. I'm sure the soldiers found some interesting uses for them, but can't think of what else it could do that the Sears 4-way couldn't.
Maybe jackknife will chime in and enlighten us on the matter.

I'm hoping mine gets here tomorrow, but I'm just not sure as it's coming from ups to a po box which tends to take longer.

Yep, those little flashlights are very handy. Honestly, i havent used my p38 much either, but its good to have and takes up so little space. I suspect that as the weather gets warmer ill be doing quite a bit more camping and be putting the p38 to use on many canned goods. It also works as a pretty good scraper and mini "pry bar" for polyurethane and paint cans
